About Me

I fell in to working in Employee Benefits after several years as a mortgage adviser; 17 years on I haven’t left! I find the variety of benefits and scheme design fascinating and love talking to both employers and their employees.

Through the course of my career I’ve expanded my knowledge to also cover Payroll and HR, building an understanding of the challenges our clients face daily, which I think brings beneficial insight to help improve our service to them.

I’ve worked for a larger corporate firm in the past, but felt we’d stopped looking out for the genuine interests of our clients which didn’t align with my ethos. Joining Harding Financial is an exciting opportunity to work with a great team of people, who are all working to the same goal.

What I love about Harding Financial

My voice matters! After 20 years in financial services, I finally feel like my experience and knowledge are valued. My thoughts and opinions are taken on board and considered, which is a huge motivator. Working for a company who value everyone at every level equally, and treat you like a person instead of a number is refreshing, and I’m looking forward to my future with them.

As I look towards the future

We have some really exciting innovations coming around mental health and wellbeing, and I feel really passionate about what we will be able to bring our clients to help their employees, in what is a really difficult time for many.

Our payroll software is also continually evolving with functionality we don't typically see available to SMEs and the next 12 months will be really interesting as we discuss with our clients to see how we can help improve and automate their processes.

I am also looking forward to completing my CIPD qualifications in May 2024 and working with the team at Harding to use this knowledge and my previous HR experience in creating additional services for our clients.

At the weekend you’ll find me

Taking my daughter to various gymnastics and ballet classes, walking the dog in the countryside and enjoying some good food and wine. We like to eat out and try local independent restaurants and come Saturday night I will normally have a gin in hand! We also like to travel both in the UK and abroad, especially going camping a couple of times a year.
